VINTAGE MID CENTURY 2.41 CARAT DIAMOND SOLITAIRE STYLE RING
This stunning vintage piece was crafted sometime during the Mid Century design period (1940-1960). The platinum setting features a center diamond measuring approximately 2.41 carats. The center diamond has been certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The diamond is a circular brilliant cut that grades approximately O-P in color and VS2 in clarity. This was the time period that saw a big departure from antique Old European cut diamonds. The diamond of the future, the round brilliant cut, had arrived. The solitaire style platinum setting features four accent diamonds along with simple yet charming details. We particularly enjoy the simple filigreed gallery and precisely engraved prongs. This vintage piece is in pristine condition, its gorgeous heirloom quality cannot be understated. This ring is currently a size 6 & 1/2.
