This antique inspired piece is a contemporary estate piece. The center diamond is an Old Mine cut measuring approximately 1.50 carats. Old Mine cut diamonds are antique diamonds that were hand cut during the 18th and 19th centuries. These diamonds were cut by hand to scintillate in soft candlelight and gas light sources. Their unique hand cut shape most often resembles a modern cushion cut diamond. The center diamond grades approximately L in color and SI1 in clarity. The platinum setting features 72 sparkling diamond accents and 4 richly hued blue sapphire accents. The setting features precise geometrical filigree along with fine milgrain and an intricate filigree gallery. This antique inspired setting featuring an antique diamond is a wonderful representation of Art Deco style. It’s heirloom quality insures it will be cherished for generations to come. This ring is currently a size 7 & 1/2.
