This vintage piece was crafted sometime during the Retro design period (1940-1960). This stunning vintage ring features 30 sparkling diamonds in three different cuts arranged for a very striking and alluring combination. The ring features 5 marquise cut diamonds, 17 baguette cut diamonds, and 8 round brilliant cut diamonds. The band has an estimated total combined diamond weight of approximately 1.0 carats. Mixing and matching multiple cuts of diamonds began as early as the Art Deco design period and the trend followed through into the Mid Century years producing a distinctly sleek and modern style. These years in the United States were particularly prosperous producing a good bit of decadent platinum and diamond jewelry. We simply adore vintage diamond band styles such as this to serve as an alternative to a traditional wedding set or a band to wear in place of a wedding set when traveling. This ring is currently a size 8.
