This antique filigree ring was crafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). The center stone is a richly hued fancy cut citrine. The beautiful color saturation of this gemstone is reminiscent of pure orange blossom honey or a rich Kentucky bourbon. The 18k white gold setting features intricate filigree arranged in a sweet floral motif. The flowers adorning the intricate filigree appear to be pansies. In Victorian flower language pansies were symbolic of loving thoughtfulness and you would give them to let someone know you were thinking of them. The setting features engravings, subtle milgrain accents, and antique style claw prongs. Citrine is commonly associated with Sagittarius and Leo in the zodiac calendar, as well as the designated birthstone for November. This antique ring is currently a size 5.
