This antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). This antique dinner ring features an 18k white gold setting with three small sparkling Old European cut diamonds set north to south. Dinner rings were the perhaps more sophisticated sister to the big and flashy cocktail ring of the Art Deco and Mid Century design periods. Dinner rings were a bit more refined. They were almost exclusively crafted from platinum or white gold and were meant to be worn to fancy dinners and balls instead of speakeasies and parties. They were oftentimes worn on the pinky finger next to a wedding ring or wedding band. This antique piece features exquisite fine antique hand engravings; prominently of the antique wheat motif. At the north and south points are two darkly hued blue sapphire accents. This piece is currently a size 8.
