This antique filigree pendant was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). The pendant features 9 antique diamonds set in platinum; the diamonds are Old European cuts. This necklace has a combined total diamond weight of approximately 2.0 carats. The setting features fine filigree and milgrain accents arranged in a timeless Deco motif. The platinum pendant is antique but the 14K white gold cable style chain is new. We always put our antique pendants on a new good quality chain, as over time and wear chains can lose their durability. During the early twentieth century and especially during the Victorian era pendants were sometimes worn on a ribbon as chains could be very expensive and rare. The chain measures approximately 16 inches in length and features an easy to use lobster claw clasp closure. The pendant measures approximately 2 & 1/4 inches in length.
