ART DECO 8 CARAT DTW DIAMOND SAPPHIRE AND PLATINUM BROOCH
This exquisite antique diamond brooch was skillfully handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period ( 1920-1940 ). The platinum setting features 120 sparkling diamonds in a decadent variety of Old European cuts, Old Mine cuts, and multiple carat sizes. This incredible custom Art Deco piece is absolutely dripping with diamonds; approximately 8 full carats combined total weight. The center diamond measures approximately 0.85 carats and grades J in color, SI1 in clarity. The center diamond is surrounded by 6 cabochon cut blue sapphires. The blue sapphires are richly hued and the perfect compliment to such an immense collection of sparkling diamonds. The filigree setting is gracefully arranged into a stylized blossom and features extensive and intricate fine milgrain accents.
