This contemporary diamond ring features stunning antique inspired design elements. The center diamond is an antique cut measuring approximately 2.59 carats. The center diamond grades approximately M in color and VS1 in clarity. The 18K white gold filigree setting features 34 small sparkling accent diamonds and 10 custom cut blue sapphire accents. The center diamond is haloed by richly hued custom cut blue sapphires. The filigree has a gorgeous floral motif along with extensive fine milgrain accents. This piece definitely utilizes some classic Art Deco design elements. During the Art Deco design period colored gemstone accents beautifully complimented white diamonds. During this time period blue sapphires were often used to symbolize loyalty, especially in wedding jewelry. This 2.59 carat diamond ring is currently a size 6 & 1/4.
