These exquisite antique diamond drop earrings were skillfully handcrafted sometime during the Edwardian design period (1900-1920). The earrings are arranged in the popular Edwardian garland motif; a style that often featured lavish bows and floral designs as well as stylized garlands. The platinum drop style settings each feature 18k gold galleries and 15 Old European cut diamonds in graduating sizes. The earrings have a total combined diamond weight of approximately 2.0 carats. The sweetly feminine design elements, such as sculpted platinum bow and scalloped edges, are exemplary of the lavish Edwardian design era. The settings also feature extensive milgrain accents. The platinum settings feature easy to use lever back style earring closures.
