This exquisite antique piece was crafted sometime during the Edwardian design period (1900-1920). The pendant portion of the necklace was originally an antique brooch. Brooches and pins were essential during this time period to hold scarves, shawls, collars; they had many uses. The 14K gold setting features extensive hand engravings and one bezel set diamond in the center. The center diamond is an Old European cut that measures approximately 0.33 carats. The pendant portion of the necklace measures approximately 2 & 1/2 inches in length. The chain is a new 14k gold cable style that measures approximately 16 inches in length.
