These bold black onyx earrings were created sometime during the mid-century design era ( 1940's - 1960's ) The earrings feature a rectangular black onyx in the center of each. Each onyx is haloed by 21 sparkling accent diamonds that have been carefully channel set into the 18k yellow gold settings. The gold settings have a decorative chevron motif along the basket of each. Each earring features a secure french clip closure. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.50 carats ( or one half of one carat ).
