This piece was handcrafted sometime during the Victorian design period ( 1840-1900 ). A gypsy ring was a popular design during this time, usually consisting of a plain gold band inlaid with three gemstones. This ring is 15k Victorian rose gold and features a central garnet flanked by two vibrant white opals. Gypsy rings began as men's jewelry but were frequently worn by women as well. This ring is currently a size 5 & 1/2.
