This antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Victorian design period (1840-1900). This handcrafted antique ring features 26 sparkling rose cut diamond accents along with 5 round white opals set north to south in the center of the setting. The opals have a beautiful fire and play of color within them. The setting is a 14K gold Navette style; Navette translating to “little boat”. Navette rings are indeed always boat shaped and the style dates all the way back to the Georgian era (1714-1840). This style was also popular throughout the Victorian era and into the Edwardian era. This elegant iconic shape along with antique rose cut diamonds give the setting such a romantic and elegant quality. This antique ring is currently a size 6.
