This beautiful vintage piece was crafted sometime during the Mid century design period (1940-1960). The setting is 14K gold and features a center diamond measuring approximately 2.80 carats. The center diamond is in the O/P color range. The stone is a bit “warm” in color and this warmth is well complimented by the rubies and gold setting. The center diamond grades approximately VS1 in clarity. This high clarity, along with the nice modern transitional cut gives the center diamond a rich and fiery scintillation. The piece is a dazzler. The center diamond is surrounded by old cut diamond and ruby accent stones. During the Mid Century design period there was a revival of Victorian design styles and this charming setting definitely takes on Victorian design influences. Simple yet stunning, the setting features 10 richly hued ruby accents and 10 sparkling old mine cut diamond accent stones. We love the antique style Multi prong design along with simple filigree gallery. This Vintage piece is a classic beauty; timeless and wonderful to behold. This ring is currently a size 6 & 1/4.
