ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND FILIGREE RING
This enchanting antique piece was crafted sometime during the Edwardian design period (1900-1920). The center diamond is an antique Old Mine cut diamond measuring approximately 0.20 carats. The center diamond grades approximately I in color and I1 in clarity. Old Mine cut diamonds are one of the very oldest diamond cuts. Their unique appearance is thanks to the fact these diamonds were cut by hand. Most resemble a modern cushion cut or oval cut diamond with a slightly rustic, hand hewn appearance. The 18K gold setting is arranged in a delicate floral motif, a favorite design theme of the Edwardian era. This antique filigree ring is quite unique in its low profile design, making it an ideal piece for everyday wear. This ring is currently a size 9.
