ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ERA 2.59 DTW OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND EARRINGS
These antique diamond earrings were crafted sometime during the Victorian design period (1840-1900). The diamonds are Old Mine cut, measuring approximately 1.30 carats and 1.29 carats. They have a combined total diamond weight of approximately 2.59 carats. The diamonds grade approximately J in color and SI1 in clarity. Old Mine cut diamonds are one of the very oldest diamond cuts. They were cut by hand using another diamond as a cutting tool. This is what gives these antique diamonds their very unique shape and appearance. Oftentimes (but not always) they resemble a modern cushion cut or oval cut with a more natural and somewhat rustic appearance. The settings are 14k Victorian rose gold and feature secure screw back closures.
