This beautiful antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). The pendant is Depression Era and crafted from 10K white gold. The chain is modern made and is 14K white gold. The pendant features a large camphor crystal (frosted and etched antique glass) framed in hand-engraved white gold and accented with a sparkling diamond center.
This antique piece features elegant filigree, hand engravings, as well as fine milgrain accents. The 14K white gold cable-style chain measures approximately 16 & ½ inches in length. The chain features an easy-to-use lobster claw-style clasp closure. The drop-style pendant measures approximately 1 inch wide & 1 & ½ inches long.
Camphor crystal pieces were so popular during the 1930’s they are sometimes referred to as “Depression glass”.
