This piece is an antique revision made from reclaimed antique materials. This necklace was originally an antique bar pin (brooch) handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period ( 1920-1940 ). The platinum bar pin features 7 gorgeous graduated custom cut blue sapphires, 16 sparkling diamond accents, exquisite filigree, as well as decorative hand engraving. During the restoration process the pin was removed and the bar was fitted with two custom bales to accommodate the chain. The bar is platinum. The chain is 14k white gold and measures approximately 16 inches. The bar measures 2 1/4 inches in length. The chain features an easy to use lobster claw clasp. The 14k white gold chain is brand new and has never been worn.
