The bracelet also features 20 bright sparkling synthetic blue sapphires, each custom cut. ( The process of producing synthetic gems for use in jewelry began in the late nineteenth century. ) The 18k white gold bracelet features hand engravings along with fine milgrain accents. This design was a cherished bracelet design during the Art Deco period that is still very much coveted to this day. The lovely combination of diamonds and sapphires is a classic.
